Below are videos and slideshows I created while at Extension and Experiment Station Communications. The video on how to make a trap to catch the spotted wing drosophila fly has been viewed more than 18,000 times. It is one of seven videos I made about trapping and identifying the invasive insect. Combined, my videos on the fruit-damaging fly have been seen over 30,000 times. One viewer wrote: "Thank you for these informative videos. We are a small organic berry farm in NC and found what we think are the Spotted Wing Drosophila Fly for the first time last evening. We will start setting out our first traps tomorrow. We appreciate Oregon State extension sharing knowledge."

With funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development, I was contracted by the AquaFish CRSP program at OSU to travel to Mexico and Honduras to produce stories, photos and videos about efforts to help people farm various types of fish. The following four videos are products of that trip. The video on cichlids has been viewed 72,000 times on YouTube.

As the communications manager at Oregon Sea Grant, I was the producer of the following videos about microplastics in shellfish and the use of oyster shells to decrease acidic seawater. I oversaw a student intern, Gustavo Garcia, who filmed and edited the two videos. I interviewed the researchers, accompanied Gustavo on shoots in the field and lab, organized the sequence of the voiceovers, and provided guidance on editing. The video on microplastics won an award of distinction from the Communicator Awards in the category of online science videos. It has been viewed more than 9,000 times. KATU TV and KPTV also aired part of it on newscasts.

I filmed and edited the video on the quest nature hike at Beverly Beach, and I edited the Oregon Sea Grant 2020 highlights reel.
